Want your story featured on the front page of Sprockster?  Want us to run out and tell the world about you and your blog?  We are seeking guest writers to feature on Sprockster and our social properties!  We are taking submissions on the following topics:

Submission Procedures
The quickest way to publish a blog on Sprockster.com is to sign-up for a free Writer account at www.Sprockster.com.  Blogs from our Writer accounts will be given first review when we decide to feature Blogs.  After we approve your Writer account, publish a blog and let us know that you are interested in having it featured by sending us an email at editor@sprockstermusic.com or by letting us know on Twitter @sprockstermusic.  After reviewing your blog, we may decide to feature it on the front page of Sprockster.com, feature it in the Blogs section of the site, and/or feature your guest blog on our additional social properties.  Feel free to link back to your blog at the bottom of your article!

If you do not want to sign-up for a free Sprockster.com Writer account, you are free to submit guest blogs the ol' fashioned way (or, err, I guess the new ol' fashioned way) . . . via email.  Publication of submitted materials is at Sprockster.com's discretion.  Email your submissions to:  editor@sprockstermusic.com

Submissions may be proofed for spelling and grammar.  Any additional revisions, if any, will be submitted to the writer for approval.  Make sure and include:

• Your submission.
• Your full name.
• Your Sprockster topic (Music, TV, Games, Tech, etc).
• 2-3 sentences about you and/or your blog.
• A square profile image if you would like us to include one in your article.
• The link you would like featured at the end of your article.  Generally, this link will direct people to your blog or your Twitter account.

Length
Submissions can vary in length.  Generally, we prefer blogs that are less than 500 words but feel free to break that rule if you feel the story needs the additional length.

Pictures/Graphics
People love 'em.  If you have 'em, send 'em on over.  But make sure you have the right to use them in your post.  

Publication Schedule
Our editorial calendar works 2-6 weeks out.  If you have a post that is time-sensitive, please make that note in your submission and we will try to review it in a timely manner.

Copyright Adherence
Simple.  DO NOT VIOLATE COPYRIGHT LAWS.  You know what this means.  Make sure your submitted materials are your own.  That means do use other people's pictures or words.

Compensation
Sprockster.com does not pay guest bloggers.  If your blog is chosen as a Featured Blog, Sprockster will compensate the guest writer with a featured blog post on the front page of Sprockster.com, a feature in the Blogs section of the site, and we will likely feature your blog on our other social properties including Facebook and Twitter.  The guest blogger will also be allowed to include a clickable image, a 2-3 sentence bio, and a link to his/her blog or other online account.
