Jeremy Plays Guitar is very excited to be part of,  Kids Need A Melody, Inc. is a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free music classes and instruments to young children living in the shelter system.

 

Our developmental music classes have been developed by early childhood specialists including special educators, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists and music educators.  The music and movements are specifically designed to foster social skills, language development, and sensory integration.

Our classes are led by two teachers for 45 minutes in duration over a 12 week period.  Children have the opportunity to sing, dance, play instruments, make up songs, rhythms, and beats and express themselves through the music.  In turn, this helps improve self-esteem, creativity, motivation, teamwork and development.

Classes are designed for both typically developing children and special needs children in self-contained and integrated settings.
