2011: the Year of the Lemon

I have to say, with Kipley’s departure I wasn’t sure how to feel about the future of the Fuzzy Lemons. But some exciting things have been happening that are breathing new life into the band. Second, and perhaps most importantly, Dana has been working the phones and has been securing gigs for us.…

Happy New Year

I hope Everyone is having an awesome 2011. Every year we make promises to ourselves. that we are going to be more organized, we are going to lose weight or we are gonna be famous this year. Then about half way through the month we stumble or cheat or we seem to fail. I say Don't worry about it. Each day is brand new, the slate is clean and you can start over.Just remember the past is the past you can't change it. The future is not here yet. Today is the present ..so enjoy it. The best…

Transcript of January's Inclusivity in Music Blog, posted in Mombian Magazine January 4

I first met Dana—and Mombian—on a summer cruise with R Family Vacations, the amazing vacation company for GLBT families (and friends and neighbors and cousins!) We've got more workshops lined up for 2011, but here is where things get really cool.

Whereas we used to get kids…

Our interactive performances make children move and sing in both English and Spanish, using a combination of traditional Latin rhythms and classic American children rhymes. We also introduce sing-along stories and games from various countries in…
