Continue Trash Can Fun

I added two new songs today. I have used these in my classes and kids love playing along on the trash cans. All you need is a trash can (that is clean) for kids to use. I bought some big plastic spoons at Wal Mart for a couple of bucks for the kids to play on the trash cans. When I found trash cans that were fun looking or had cool colors and on clearance I bought them over the summer so I could use them with my classes. Putdowns in schools:(

I am a teacher and see many kids that put down others. It is so sad to see this happening at young ages. I have a couple of new songs about putdowns and bullying that I have written. I am putting together a show that addresses this problem. I may throw in one of these songs in my fun shows. If I can reach a few kids with my songs and have a positive impact then it is worth it.

I have been teaching music for over 17 years and have been writing children's music for the past 6 years. This past year I have been going out and performing my original songs and have had so much fun. I never get tired of seeing kids and adults having fun to the music I have written. Teaching and performing are so rewarding!!
