This is my first time posting on Sprockster, I'm so glad to be a member!

I am wondering if anyone can spend a moment letting me know of your favorite venues you might suggest as I build a tour with my booking agent between Boston (where I live) and MacLean Virginia where I'm playing on May 9 at the Alden Theatre.  I'll be coming with two band members and we'd like to spend the week touring around. We have played at a few venues in CT, 92Y Tribeca in New York City, and the Kimmel Center for New Year's Day in Philadelphia.  Otherwise, we're quite new to touring farther out from the Greater Boston area as I have two young children of my own.  My agent, Lauri Chmielewski, is way more knowledgeable about venues than I am, but we both agree it would be wonderfully helpful to get people's input on their favorite venues. I know it's getting late to book for May but I'll keep my fingers crossed that we can find some places, including libraries.
